My new Niece!!

Isabel was born Saturday March 28th at 5:26 p.m. She was 7 lbs. 10 oz. and was 19 inches long. She has black hair and is so cute! (of course) I don't think she looks like Rachel or Calvin, but I can see Brian and Stefannie in her. We are so happy she is here and happy that her and Stefannie are both doing good!

I'll say "happy" you say "birthday"

Cassia had her 6th birthday party at chucky cheese!! It was funny to see all us adults playing the games as much as the kids. I think we won like 4,000 tickets all together and of course that will only get you ten plastic dinosaurs, 3 pirate eye patches, and 5 tongue balloon things. I'm sure they got a lot more than that but that's how it seems. They announced Cassia's name over the intercom and she had the most shocked look on her face it was hilarious. Chucky also came out and sang "happy birthday" to her and they got to dance with him too!! One little girl at her party could not get enough of Chucky and one little girl was frightened by him. (Remember when that place used to be showbiz pizza?!!) Cassia and I share a birthday so it is actually really fun for me to get to celebrate but not feel like it's for me!

Racal Flatts

So for the past 3 years my mom has bought tickets to the rascal flatts concert for me for my birthday. This year just Bethany and I went cause Jessica Simpson was opening for them and my mom said she does not like her. We met Katie at Jason's deli for dinner and while we were walking over we almost got hit by a trax train. Yikes!! Jessica Simpson was okay she forgot the words to one of her songs and then some of the others she sang were gospel songs so that was kind of weird. But it was worth sitting through her performance to see rascal flatts. They started out the concert with a back ground of some woods and you could see a shooting star coming closer and closer when finally it hit the stage and exploded!! It was the coolest opening to a concert ever. They are amazing performers and have an amazing band. This one guy can play the fiddle like no one's business, it's crazy!! And their drummer is from Utah. One guy tells the same jokes every year they come though and I have them memorized. Their stage went around the whole floor so a lot of the time we were pretty close which was cool. On our way home from the concert a guy passed us going like 130 mph and almost hit us once and the guy next to us twice!! Bethany called highway patrol but I don't think they ever found him. So we could have died twice that night.

Shoe Fanatic!!!

I babysit my niece Wrigley every Thursday while her mom and dad are at work. This past Thursday Bethany, my mom and I went up to Brigham city. While my mom stayed at my Grandma's and Grandpa's house cleaning. Bethany, our cousin Jacquie, Wrigley and I went shopping. The first store we stop at was a show store. We all tried on shoes including Wrigley!! She was walking all over grabbing shoes and ooohing and aaahing them and then would put them on her feet. Annie and Ben are in TROUBLE!!!

Boyz II Men Concert

I guess these past two years have been the years to go to old school concerts!! In November Bethany and I went to New Kids on the Block, which was so fun to reminisce, then for my birthday we went to Boyz II Men. It started out with Bethany wanting to do something fun for my birthday this year. She had heard a commercial on the radio that Boyz II Men were going to be in Wendover on my birthday. She tried to buy tickets but they were all sold out (Who would've guessed). So then we decided we would go to Wendover and try to buy tickets from a scalper, and if we didn't get any then we would just hang out in Wendover for the night. So my birthday comes along and I was driving over to my parents house cause Bethany and I were going to visit our grandma, when I hear on the 97.1 that they were in American Fork and they were giving away Boyz II Men tickets. So I call Bethany and tell her and we decide to go down and see how we can win them. (sorry grandma)! So we go to the cricket store where they were and ask them how we can win tickets. The dj says "ok stand on one foot" so we do "now jump up and down" so we do "now sing mary had a little lamb" so Bethany does (I was laughing to hard to sing). After a few verses of Mary had a little lamb we won two tickets!! Talk about a good birthday present. They took pictures and said they would be on line but I couldn't find them so if you go look and do find them let me know. So Bethany, Jamey, Katie (Bethany's friend) and I all go up to Wendover, we find a lady that is selling two of her 4 tickets and then we traded her our two for her other two. So we got two other people in and all got to sit by eachother. There are only 3 of the 4 Boyz II Men now and they didn't sing very many of their original songs, but it was still a good concert. They had some silly dancing too! When we got there I realized how they sold out so fast, the peppermill hall probably only holds 200 people. It was really small, but that meant there was not a bad seat in the house!!

Ok so I finally caved and started a blog! We will see how well I keep it up though. It seems like with two jobs I never even have time to think let alone do anything else so it should be interesting.
