Manti Pageant

So one day my mom and I were driving home from Salt Lake and I saw a billboard for the Manti Pageant. I said "that would be fun to go to" so my mom planned it all and we went. Of course when we planned this Jamey didn't have a job so he was going to be able to come, but the week before we went Kirk got him a job delivering papers. So he had to be to work early and wasn't able to make it. My parents went down a few days before I did cause I ended up having to work. We camped at a camp ground right behind the temple so it was nice not to have to worry about traffic we could just walk. The pageant was so good and the spirit was really amazing! It was pouring my whole drive down until I was about 5 miles out of town, talk about amazing. It didn't rain on us the whole time either, it was a bit chilly though. My mom had heard that if you rub a dryer sheet on you it will keep the mosquitos away, so that's the reason for my silly bib!! We went and took pictures of the motel that we stayed at the night before Jamey and I were married. I couldn't stop laughing at the sign in their window selling bug spray. Jamey's room was infested with bugs when we were there that when they checked in they handed them their key and a can of bug spray and said "you might need this". So I had to get a picture of that, at least they didn't have to pay for their can!

  2. So... did the dryer sheet work or was it just a good fashion accessory?

  3. I think it worked cause I didn't get bit. I've heard of people handing them out at out door weddings and out door wedding receptions.
