Cassia's Kindergarten Graduation & dance festival

Cassia graduated from Kindergarten!! I can't believe she is old enough. Lindon elementary does a dance festival every year at the end of the school year. It's fun to watch Hunter and Cassia do the dance their grades learned! My favorite, which I didn't get pictures of was of the Chicken dance at the end of the all the dances. Bethany and I finally got Red to do the dance and it was the cutest thing ever. I didn't know that song had words to it, pretty funny ones at that.

Pool

My parents set up their pool this week. That's where I plan to spend every Thursday of the summer!!! We had a little pool party and set up the water slide and played in the freezing cold pool. Janel, Stacy, Eliza, Aunt Dale, and little Bobby came over to play. We pushed the trampoline close to the pool and starting jumping in, that was fun!! I can't wait for it to start getting warmer now, it was a bit chilly. Hunter actually compared the water to the Artic, which I would have to agree

Water Slide!

So the other day Kirk and Joy and their kid's went over to my parents house. Hunter asks my Dad "Hey grandpa when are you going to buy that new water slide?" My dad says "How about right now?" So they go to Costco and this is the result of that trip!! It is really fun and the kids love it.

Mother's Day

After I got off work we went up to Jamey's parents house for mothers day. We had some good food and then opened up presents. Jamey and I got Patti a snuggy (I believe is what its called) It's a blanket that has arms so you can still change the channel and other things. She loved it! (Funny thing though this was actually her Christmas present, but it came late and I kept forgetting to give it to her). We also got her the movie "Bride Wars". Annie and Ben gave her some C.D.'s of pictures, and Brittany got her a cute beach bag, swimming suit and cover up. I think she had a good Mother's day. I am so greatful to have such a good Mother in law. She can always see the good side of everything and have a good laugh no matter what. After Isabel's blessing that morning Bethany and I gave our mom her present, We got her a ticket to American Idol Live (I should've thought about taking a picture of that but of course not). She really liked her present as well and hopefull she can fugure a way out of part of girls camp so she can go!!! I am also so greatful for my mom, I wouldn't be the person I am today without her. She is such a kind and compasionate person. She is one of my best friends and I enjoy hanging out with her and doing whatever. Thanks for being such a good mom! Happy Mothers Day!!

Isabel's Blessing

My niece Isabel was blessed on May 10th (Mothers day). She looked so cute in her dress and was really good during the blessing. My mom crocheted the dress for her and it turned out so cute.

Spring Break. Devil's canyon, Utah

This year we went to Devil's Canyon for our spring break. Never Heard of it before, neither had I. It's in between Blanding and Moab. I think there were 3 other people camping there so we basically had the place to ourselves which was nice. This was my kind of camping trip we just sat around, relaxed and enjoyed eachothers company. There a cool rock wall in our campground that we went climbing on that was way cool and fun. We did go to the four corners one day, which is always fun. It was so windy I thought I was going to be blown away!!! We bought some fun souveniers and even got some yummy fry bread. A couple days later we found out that four corners is actually on top of a mountain, so we weren't really standing in four states at one time. We had a belated Easter egg hunt and the kids really enjoyed it. We also went out to eat at a restaurant in Blanding one night and I think the people there thought we were crazy! Thirteen of us all in that little restaurant probably did look a little crazy. I LOVE spending time with my family and could not think of anything I would rather do. So this was perfect!

My new Niece!!

Isabel was born Saturday March 28th at 5:26 p.m. She was 7 lbs. 10 oz. and was 19 inches long. She has black hair and is so cute! (of course) I don't think she looks like Rachel or Calvin, but I can see Brian and Stefannie in her. We are so happy she is here and happy that her and Stefannie are both doing good!
