Wow

Whew!! That was a lot of blogging for one day! I try not to get so far behind so hopefully this will keep me caught up for a while.

Life through the eyes of Red

While at Cassia's graduation Red got a hold of my camera. Here is what we got from that! Some very freaky close ups of us and him!! Some little fingers, his of course. And some great shots of his "B" (binky). And how can you not love the up side down one?

Memorial Day

I have to work every holiday so of course while everyone is out BBQ'ing and having fun I'm stuck inside providing the fried chicken for everyone's festivities. My family did have a picnic up the canyon at Timpanogos park later that evening so I got to go. We played this game, I don't remember what its called, but each player gets a set of golf balls tied together with a rope and you throw them and try to wrap them around one of three bars. It's really fun. I think my team lost after a very long game! The scenary at this park was beautiful, this is the park they built for the Tipanogos story telling festival.

Cassia's first dance recital

Cassia had just gotten signed up for dance a few weeks before this recital, and Kirk signed her up to be in it! I think she did a pretty good job for only going to like 2 classes! She showed off her costume to any one who would look, and she would show off her moves too! They did their dance to the Happy Working song from the movie Enchanted. I love that Red tries to do the dance moves too, that kid is so cute!

Cassia's Kindergarten Graduation & dance festival

Cassia graduated from Kindergarten!! I can't believe she is old enough. Lindon elementary does a dance festival every year at the end of the school year. It's fun to watch Hunter and Cassia do the dance their grades learned! My favorite, which I didn't get pictures of was of the Chicken dance at the end of the all the dances. Bethany and I finally got Red to do the dance and it was the cutest thing ever. I didn't know that song had words to it, pretty funny ones at that.

Pool

My parents set up their pool this week. That's where I plan to spend every Thursday of the summer!!! We had a little pool party and set up the water slide and played in the freezing cold pool. Janel, Stacy, Eliza, Aunt Dale, and little Bobby came over to play. We pushed the trampoline close to the pool and starting jumping in, that was fun!! I can't wait for it to start getting warmer now, it was a bit chilly. Hunter actually compared the water to the Artic, which I would have to agree

Water Slide!

So the other day Kirk and Joy and their kid's went over to my parents house. Hunter asks my Dad "Hey grandpa when are you going to buy that new water slide?" My dad says "How about right now?" So they go to Costco and this is the result of that trip!! It is really fun and the kids love it.
